With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Timothy J. Heitkamp of Fort Recovery, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his nephew Alex Simper; his grandparents, Mark Knapke, Melvin and Helen Heitkamp; and his cousins, Melinda, Jason, Anthony and Austin.
He is survived by: his parents, Tom Heitkamp and Kathy Heitkamp (Knapke); his siblings, Jeff Heitkamp (Kate) of Dublin, Jen Simper (Mike) of Coldwater, Bob Heitkamp (Laura) of Fort Recovery, Sara Dick (Matt) of Galion, Greg Heitkamp (Meredith) of Westerville, Dan Heitkamp (Kris) of Noblesville and Curt Heitkamp (Kelsey) of Lithopolis, Ohio; and his grandmother Norma Knapke of Cranberry Prairie. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home (308 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (3512 St Peter Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery (3512 St Peter Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846).
