He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Stammen and Mary Rita Stammen (Huber); his grandson Luke Stammen; his brother John Stammen; his sister-in-law Pat Stammen; and his parents-in-law, Ruth Otte and Dale Siefring.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Stammen (Siefring); his children, Todd Stammen (Denise) of Wendelin, Marty Stammen (Jaymi) of Fort Recovery, Amy Wendel (Eric) of Fort Recovery, Chrissy Bergman (Aaron) of Wendelin and Tony Stammen (Kayla) of Marion, OH; his siblings, Ken Stammen of Sharpsburg, Kathy Ontrop (Ron) of St. Henry and Dan Stammen of Sharpsburg; and his parents-in-law, Dennis Siefring (Diana) of Fort Recovery, Larry Siefring (Kris) of Troy, Ed Siefring (Dana) of New Weston, John Otte (Alice) of St. Henry and Donna Braun (Steve) of St. Henry. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
