He is survived by: his wife Patricia Meier (Eischen); his children, David Meier (Krista) of St. Henry, Jeff Meier of Fort Recovery, Ken Meier (Crystal) of Kenton, OH, Cindy Obringer (Doug) of Lebanon, OH and Laura Heitkamp (Brian) of Rockford, OH; his grandchildren, Julie (Jonathan), Matthew (Jennifer), Kevin, Sara, Daniel, Katie, Renee, Nate, Allison, Trevor and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Brynlee and Reah; his siblings, Roger Meier of Maria Stein, Stanley Meier (Linda) of Maria Stein and Lucy Steinbrunner (John) of Coldwater; his siblings-in-law, Linda Meier of Yorkshire and Jim Platfoot of Florida; and his parents-in-law, Evelyn Goubeaux of Versailles, Frank Eischen (Selia) of Texas, Bill Eischen (Paula) of Florida and Colett Eischen of Laura, OH..
