Jerome W. Laux Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome W. Laux of Fort Recovery, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Laux and Anna Laux (Kramer); his wife Lucille Marie Laux (Timmerman); his brother John Laux; his brother-in-law Charles Shawver; and his in-laws, Wilfred, Erma Eischen (Art), Gerald Timmerman (Irene), Ruth Gruss (Lavern), Richard Timmerman (LouDonna), Joan Hartings (Gregor), Louis Timmerman (Alma), Esther Hartings (Ben), Edna Klingshirn (Paul), Bernice Dirksen (Urban) and Margaret Lucille Timmerman.
He is survived by: his sister Margret Shawver of Fort Recovery. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home (308 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (471 St Anthony Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery (471 St Anthony Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846).
Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Neurological Development or to the family to help offset final expenses.
