Abels (Fort Recovery, Ohio), born in Celina, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Abels and Mary Abels (Braun); his grandson Trevor; his siblings, Elmer Abels, Ralph Abels, Walter Abels (Marceil), Eugene Abels and Mary Jane Larger (David); and his brothers-in-law, Anthony Nieport and Marion Neargarder.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Abels (Carper); his children, Scott Abels (Lori) of Fort Recovery and Jennifer Zamudio (Elijah) of Lima; his siblings, Delores Nieport of St. Henry, Joan Neargarder of Versailles, Paul Abels (Roberta) of St. Henry and Carroll Abels (Marlene) of Fort Recovery; and his sisters-in-law, Dolores Abels of Coldwater and Dolores Schmitz of Coldwater.
