He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vaughn and Rita Vaughn (Green); and his wife Carolyn Vaughn (Pitt). He is survived by: his children, Colleen Vaughn (Kendall Storie) of Fort Worth, TX, James A. Vaughn (Sharon) of Fort Recovery and Jeff Vaughn (Shelly) of Fort Recovery; and his grandchildren, Brook Vaughn, Shelby Wynk (Kevin), Heather Wenning (Kenny), Tori Vaughn, Trevor Vaughn and Alli Vaughn.
