He is survived by: his wife Dolores Fortman (Litmer); his children, Virginia Alder of London, Cindy Bistrek of Xenia and David Fortman of Fort Recovery; his grandchildren, Adam Bistrek (Courtney), Elizabeth Alder (Jay), Alyssa Erbaugh (James IV), Jeremy Alder, Lucas Bistrek (Rachel), Christina Bistrek, Maddi Fortman (Ron) and Holli Fortman; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Colton; and his sister Mary Berniece Kampf of Fort Wayne, Indiana..
