She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Jim" Litmer and Rose Litmer (Baumer); her husband James "Jim" Fortman; her son Tim Fortman; her son-in-law Jerry Alder; her grandsons, Andrew Bistrek and Jeremy Alder; and her sister-in-law Shirley Litmer.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Alder of London, Cindy Bistrek of Xenia and David Fortman of Fort Recovery; her grandchildren, Adam Bistrek (Courtney), Elizabeth Alder (Jay), Alyssa Erbaugh (James IV), Lucas Bistrek (Rachel), Christina Bistrek, Maddi Mills (Ron) and Holli Fortman; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Colton, Peyton, Wade, Lydia, Bristal and Nate; and her siblings, Tom Litmer (Eileen) of Fort Recovery, Kenny Litmer (Linda) of Monroe, Ron Litmer of Fort Recovery, Vern Litmer (June) of Miamisburg and Linda Stout (Bill) of St. Henry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home (308 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (403 Sharpsburg Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery (512 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846).
