He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kaup and Mary Kaup (Knoth); his siblings, Adrian "Doc" Kaup (Bernice), Alvin Kaup (Alma) and Floyd Kaup (Virginia); his brother-in-law Mark Hein; his parents-in-law, Carl and Willidean Hasenjager (Riesen); and his sister-in-law Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Kaup (Hasenjager); his children, Randy Kaup (Cindy) of St. Henry, Tony Kaup (Deb) of Coldwater, Lori Pease (Kerry) of Celina, Jim Kaup (Sue) of Coldwater, Amy Wenning (Paul) of Coldwater and Kelly Sheetz (Ben) of Fort Recovery; his sister Irene Hein of Coldwater; and his in-laws, Mike Hasenjager (Coleen) of Celina, Becky George of Virginia, Dave Hasenjager (Cheryl) of Celina, Jeff Hasenjager (Sue) of Celina and Barb Miller (Kevin) of Celina. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home (308 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (471 St Anthony Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery (471 St Anthony Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to EverHeart Hospice.
