He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pottkotter and Marie Pottkotter (Lange); his in-laws, Pat Pottkotter and Jerry May; his nephew Dan May; and his parents-in-law, Rich and Viola Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Pottkotter (Miller); his siblings, Ralph Pottkotter of Celina, Henry Pottkotter (Rita) of Coldwater, Lou Ann May of St. Henry, Mary Barga (Mike) of Versailles, Roger Pottkotter of St. Henry, Donna Subler (Mike) of Versailles and Paul Pottkotter (Janet) of St. Henry; his in-laws, Miriam Bantz (Todd) of Victorville, Sharon Sheffer (Greg) of Portland, Indiana and Dee Marchal (Michael) of Portland, Indiana; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home (308 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (403 Sharpsburg Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery (512 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846).
