With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn L. Hemmelgarn of Fort Recovery, Ohio, who passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Franck and Luella Gaerke-Franck; her grandchildren, Chloe and Nick; and also Ned (Kathy Hemmelgarn).
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Hemmelgarn (Butch); her children, Anthony and Margie Hemmelgarn (Meyer); her grandchildren, Matt and Shannon Hemmelgarn; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Mae and Max; her children, Isla, Nolan, Terrence and Lois Hemmelgarn (Knapke); her grandchildren, Jack, Emma and Rachael; her children, Thomas and Lynn Hemmelgarn (Romer); her grandson Connor (Sarah); her children, Alec (Courtney), Kaitlyn and Lori (Bob Davidek); her grandchildren, Megan, Brendan Donahue, Joseph and Scott; and also, Dan (Linda Franck), Larry (Theresa Franck), Glenn (Renee Franck), Kate (John Fullenkamp), Trish (Jerry Osterholt), Fred (Doris Hemmelgarn), Grace (Ken Tobe) and Mary (Louie Bergman).
