She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Ewing and Sarah Ewing (Courter); and her siblings, Walter Ewing, Grace Eidemiller, George Ewing, Sherman Ewing and Ruth Jones.
She is survived by: her spouse Gene Alfrey; her daughters, Belinda Hudson (Mark) of New Bremen and Carrie Heuing (Gery) of Russia; her grandchildren, Brad Alfrey, Luke Heuing, John Heuing, Rachel Heuing (Zach Sherman), Mitchell Heuing, Andy Hudson, Matt Hudson (Andrea) and Johanna Hudson; her great grandchildren, Paige, Aiden and Olivia; and her sister Effie Martin.
