Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Warnecke Sr. of Fort Jennings, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 87, on February 16, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Warnecke and Verena Warnecke (Suever); his siblings, Marion Ricker (Ike), Leander Warnecke (Mary), Richard Warnecke (Irma), Roger Warnecke (Esther) and Edwin Warnecke; and his parents-in-law, Eva Warnecke, Bob Calvelage, Al Bonifas, Jim Landwehr, Charles Landwehr (Mary), Mary Maag (Lawrence), Lillian Landwehr, Alfred Landwehr (Janet) and Eddie Landwehr.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Landwehr; his children, Ruth Hellman (Glenn) of Fort Jennings, Larry Warnecke (Brenda) of Fort Jennings, Bill Warnecke, Jr. (Jan) of Fort Jennings, Norman Warnecke (Jan) of Fort Jennings and Jerry Warnecke (Terri) of Ottawa; his siblings, Eileen Bonifas of Landeck, Betty Calvelage of Fort Jennings and Kenny Warnecke of Fort Jennings; and his parents-in-law, JoAnn Menke (Herk) of Fort Jennings, Joe Landwehr of Ottawa, Rita Martin (John) of Delphos, Elmer Landwehr (Jane) of Kalida, Alice Landwehr of Fort Jennings and Paul Landwehr of Defiance. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, with one more in June; 5 step-great-grandchildren.
In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, masks and social distancing are required at the church.
