He was predeceased by: his daughters, June Klinger and Sharon Sheets; and his siblings, Ray Swartz, Mary Wertz and Ruth Wilkin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Sue Krick (Jack) of Winterhaven and Brenda Welch (Jimmy) of Ft. Jennings; his grandchildren, Kent Klinger (Lori), Penny Baucom, Steven Krick (Jayme), Debra Krick, Stacia Burlingame, Devin Sheets (Shay), Jennifer Oliver (Jody), Ernest Welch (Molly) and Thomas Welch; his sisters, Ione Owens of Van Wert and Leone Pollock of Van Wert; his sons-in-law, Robert Klinger of Middle Point and David Sheets of Van Wert; and his wife Francis. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
