It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mercedes Cox of Fort Jennings, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, John Cox and Keith Garberson. She is survived by: her parents, Jody Cox and Melinda Cox (Garberson); her son Braxton Cox; her close friend Jason Mueller of Fort Jennings; her siblings, Michael Cox (Faith Butler), Marcus Cox and Maria Cox of Miller City; her grandmothers, Dorthea Cox and Janet Garberson of Ottawa; and her pets, Rocky, Scarlett and Oden. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a scripture service at 2:45 p. m. Due to the restrictions regarding COVID 19, masks are required upon entering the funeral home and/or church.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
