She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Gerschutz and Marcella Gerschutz (Birkemeier); her former husband James Metzger; and her sister Arlene Gerschutz. She is survived by: her husband James Broecker; her daughters, Paula Kobalka (Joe) of Westerville, Shelly Pruden (Pat) of Middle Point, Shawn Heiing of Fort Jennings and Sheri Pugh (Brad) of Pandora; her grandchildren, Crystal (Aaron), Joe (Ashley), Ariel, Brice, Rylee, Dylan, Bryan and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Cailey, Brayden, Dillon and Brendan; and her siblings, Carolyn Bock of Westfield Center, Jane Askins of Defiance and Greg Gerschutz of Beaufort.

Memorial Donations may be made to Putnam County Home Health, Putnam County CAP or Mercy Health Foundation of Greater Lima, Pediatric Fund.
