He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Jean (Scott) and Paul Roger Newland Sr.; his sisters, Dorothy Horn and Penny Prater; and his brother-in-law Larry Dye.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Joe Newland Jr. (Dalta), Sheila Chontos (Michael), Jessica Newland, Christine Conner (Daniel) and Luke Newland; and his siblings, Paul Newland (Chris), Marcia Kinnear (Ron), Cheri Dye and Tammy Baldwin (Clayton). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
