He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Martin. He is survived by: his mother Mary Martin; his wife Shirley Bierdeman; his sons, Ronald Jr., Sean (Tracey) and Micheal; his former wife April Martin; his children, Shirley, Lyne Grant (Denny), Clint Bierdeman (Sherri) and Collette Miller (Russ); and his grandchildren, Nicole Kitakis (Carlo), Neal, Nicholas, Elena Martin, Mackenzie, Mark Martin, Tya Coldiron (Derek), Teque, Trinity Grant, Clayton and Isaac Miller. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made to fund a one-time Eagle Scout scholarship in Ron's memory.
