He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gallant and Glenna P Gallant (Rodabaugh); and his brother Randy D. Gallant. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kay Whitman; his daughters, Jennifer K. Nelson (Eric) of Gahanna and Rita R. King (Brandon) of McComb; and his siblings, Richard A. Gallant (Barbara) of Charlevoix, MI, Janet A. Wilson (Leonard) of Lima, Judy A. Klingler (John) of Lima, Joyce M. Fickel (John) of Lima, Jill E. Drake (Tom) of Lima and Roberta J. Glasco (late Timothy) of Lima.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crates Funeral Home (620 N Main St, Arlington, OH 45814). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
