She was predeceased by: her mother Charlie Mae Gray; her brother Charles Irons; her aunt Amanda Gray; and her granddaughter Angela M. McClendon-Hill. She is survived by: her sister Bertha McBeth; her children, Linda Wright (Richard), Cheryl McClendon, Diana Dulaney and Vincent McClendon; her grandchildren, Sonya Wright, Vonetta Anthony, Mark Anthony, II, Saundra Wright, Sabrina Wright, DaTeshia McClendon, Sequoia Wright, Vicki Araujo (Jose) and Vincent McClendon, Jr.; her nephews, Benjamin Vassar and Frederick Moore; and her stepdaughter Regina Patterson (David).
