He is survived by: his children, John Mowery Jr. (Lynn) of Forest, Kenneth Mowery (Karen) of Forest, Kathy Hicks (Jim) of Forest and Brenda Weber (Mark); and his siblings, Merle Mowery (Connie) and Dolly Essinger.
