She was predeceased by: her father Ray R. Montgomery; her husband James Penwell Sr.; her siblings, Marie Snider, Donna Craig, Randie Wren, Ray Jr. (Montgomery) and Don R. Montgomery; her great grandchild Travis Hoel; and her stepsons, Harold and Jeff Penwell.
She is survived by: her sons, James Penwell Jr. (Charlotte) of Richfield, NC and Ricky Penwell (Lori Bostater) of Findlay; her stepson Donnie Penwell of San Antonio, TX; her brother Tom Montgomery of Dunkirk; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Yoder (David), Ruth (Jerry) of Tennessee, Stephanie Minor (Jason), Loretta Bryant (Blake), Jamie Penwell, Cory Penwell, Frederick Bowman, Anthony Bowman and Denise Bowman. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
