She was predeceased by: her father Lester Rose; her husband Darold E. Schmitz; her son Mark Schmitz; her sons-in-law, Rick Brown and Mike Bledsoe; and her siblings, Junior S. Rose, Louis H. Rose, Freeman E. Rose, Arlein Bowman and Marjorie Brown.
She is survived by: her children, David Schmitz (Debbie), Cindy Fraley (Gary), Kathie Snyder (Len) and Leah Bledsoe; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Stallard. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
