She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Hanscel and Eva Hanscel; her husband Willodean Whitley; her son Terry Whitley; and her siblings, Robert Hanscel and Barbara Moore.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Ripley and Benjamin Hanscel; and her children, Carolyn (Joe Carpenter), Garry (Kathy Whitley), Joyce Stowers and Sharon (Mike Dulgar). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
