She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Wright and Birda Baker Wright; and her son Rodney McKimmie. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Dawson of Follansbee, Pat McKimmie (Janice) of Genoa, Jeff McKimmie (Elaine) of Stella and Scott McKimmie of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and her sister Alice Duckworth of Weirton. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
