It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark James Elerick of Flushing, Ohio, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald James Elerick and Patricia Gonot Elerick; and his stepfather Andrew Jakubic. He is survived by: his sons, Zachary James Elerick (Rebecca) and Jack Robert Elerick; his former wife Jacqueline Colleen Thrash; and his siblings, Richard James "Rick" Elerick (Vickie), Michael James Elerick and Rosemary Ann Selmon (Paul). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during the public visitation to be held on Tuesday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio from 3 p. m. to 7 p. m.
