Claudia Maxine Fuhr Obituary
Fuhr, Claudia Maxine of Flushing, age 93, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at her home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Crum will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday and 10 am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Claudia was born in Sikeston, Missouri, on September 12, 1923, the daughter of Gilbert and Nora (Shelton) Bohannon. She married Donald Fuhr in Anderson, Indiana, in 1947. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2001. Claudia was a member of Clio Community Church of God. She was special to her two granddaughters, Amanda and husband Marc Menosky of Burt, and Amber Fuhr and fiance Larry Eschenweck of Mt.
Morris. Claudia is survived by three children, Roy and Jean Cowsert of Paris, TN, James Fuhr of Greenbay, WI, and Teresa Hatfield of Flint; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Bohannon of IN; sister, Nedra Shelby of Matthews, MO; many nieces, nephews and special friends at Elmcrest Village.
