He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip L. Johnson Sr. and Ruth H. Van Dyne Johnson; and his sister Kelly Sue Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Johnson and Philip Johnson Jr. (Sandra); his nephew Philip "PJ" Johnson III; and his niece Jennifer Johnson (Brad Malesky).
