He is survived by: his wife Robin Louise Welch (Hopkins); his children, Heather Savage (Toby), Heidi Spurgeon (Jerry), Britney Hatcher (Tim) and Michelle Welch; his daughter-in-law Emily Welch; and his siblings, Steven of Florida and Malinda of New Carlisle. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren.
