He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Elson and Faith Elson (Davenport); his wife Susan Elson (Juday); his sisters, Jewell Trout and Debbie York; and his stepson Jack Cox, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Scott Elson (Kathy); his siblings, Edward Elson (Sabrina), Sheilah Perkins and Michelle England (Dave); and his close friends, Jason Forsythe (Lacey) and Jay Nelson (Debbie). He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miami County Hospice.
