He was predeceased by: his parent Lloyd J. Willis; his wife Mary C. Jelleff; his grandchildren, Michael and Meghan North; and his siblings, Glenn, Carl, Gene, David, Bill Willis and Lillian Caldwell.
He is survived by: his parent Margarite Willis (Miller); his children, Richard Bradley Tucker of Piqua, Cindy Hutson of Casstown, Elizabeth Tucker-Lince of New Carlisle, Charles Willis (Tracey) and Eric Willis (Heather); and his siblings, George "Jack" Willis and Etta Kress. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
