He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Johnson and Jim Johnson of Bartlett; his wife Penny D. Johnson; his grandson Sebastian; his brother Raymond Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Dolpha "Doc" and Lillian Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie (Greg) and Michael; his grandchildren, Daphanie (Isaac), Le'Cole (Levi), Tre, Shauna and Xavier; his great grandchild Ivan Ray; his brothers, Carl Johnson (Marilyn) and Ralph Johnson (Virginia); and his sister-in-law Betty Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
