He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolan Owen and Hazel Layfield Robinson; his wife Janice Marie Rowell Robinson; his son Jeffrey Owen Robinson; and his sisters, Katherine Paugh and Elaine Bradley.
He is survived by: his children, James Thomas Robinson, Jr. (Pegi) of Longbottom, OH, Jerry A. Robinson (Brenda) of Colorado Springs, CO, Julie Mock (Stephen) of Lancaster, OH and Joseph Robinson (Shannon) of Grafton, WV; his brothers, Don Robinson (Joan) and Larry Robinson (Laura); and his brothers-in-law, Roger and Thomas Rowell. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren.
