He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hendershot and Bertha Heintz Hendershot; and his siblings, William, Robert, John, Walter Hendershot, Pauline Shawver, Marie Turner and Ruth Watson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Madonna Deann Gibbs (Krist) of Dublin, OH, Theresa Hendershot of Fleming, Elizabeth Zwick (Robert) of Lower Salem and Suzanne Hendershot of Belpre; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Lauren and Ethan Zwick.
