She was predeceased by: her husband Paul E. Berning; her parents, Edward Prell and Clara Prell; her stepfather Gus Siegmann; and her brothers, Melvin Prell and Vernon Prell (Jeanette).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Berning, Joe Berning, Diane Berning and Tom Berning (Suzy); her grandchild Kelly DeTellem (Doak); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Doakie and Ronnie. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
