He was predeceased by: his parents, William McConnell and Alice McConnell; and his siblings, Rusty McConnell (Marsha) and Dorothy Roe (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Kelly Kintzele and Katie Shanahan; and his grandsons, Garrett Kintzele (Sarah), Dylan Kintzele, Danny and Jack Shanahan.
