He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Maas and Ruth E. Maas (Wiggins); his son R. Dan Maas; and his brother Homer "Til" Maas. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Vandersall; his son Mark A. Maas (Noreen) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Justin C. Maas (Jacey), Clayton E. Maas (Leah), Christy A. Cramner (Matthew) of Findlay and Heather M. Gorman (Jamey) of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Hauenstein. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
