He was predeceased by: his father Cletus Daughenbaugh; his daughter Renea Daughenbaugh; and his siblings, Raymond Daughenbaugh, Gloria Myers and Geraldine Lenz.

He is survived by: his former wife Paula (Lee); his children, Robin Paulus (Jan Richardson) of Tiffin, Robert Daughenbaugh (Deanna) of South Carolina and Ryan Daughenbaugh (Aubrey) of Findlay; and his siblings, Charles Daughenbaugh (Lynda) of Republic, Cletus Daughenbaugh (Connie) of Tiffin, Larry Daughenbaugh of Tiffin, Ronald Daughenbaugh of Tiffin, Sharon Breese of Fostoria, Beverly Myers (Jim) of Clyde, Rachel Kimble of Fostoria and Debra Daughenbaugh of Fostoria. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
