He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Allen and D. W. Allen; and his spouse Shirley Ann McKnight. He is survived by: his children, Tyler L. Allen (Mallory Barfield) of Georgia and Aryann A. Bowers (Ray) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Baylee A. Bowers and Mackenzy A. Bowers; his great grandchild Emery R. Baker; and his siblings, Rev. Warren W. Allen (Pat) of Indiana and Janet Metzger of Missouri.
