He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Meyer and Verna Meyer (Gerken); and his siblings, Russell Meyer (Elaine), James Meyer, Dave Meyer and Bonnie Baldwin.

He is survived by: his spouse Christie Churchill; his daughters, Stephanie Thompson (Erik) of Powell, Jessica Meyer (Chad Dingledine) of London, Vicki Mack (Tim) of Swanton and Barbara Zimmerman (Larry) of Wauseon, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Beckett Thompson, Gabe, Cole, Oliver Dingledine, Linnea Short (Tyler), Logan Mack (Kortney), Lydia Sweeney (Dustin), Zane, Drew Krall, Alex and Derek Zimmerman; his brother Mark Meyer (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Meyer and Norm Baldwin. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
