He was predeceased by: his sisters, Elizabeth Sherman and Karen Norton. He is survived by: his spouse Debora A. Tiell; his children, Maurice E. Risser IV (Jennifer), Matthew Risser (Heather), Misty Risser of Findlay and Melanie Leisure (Ryan) of Arlington; his siblings, Michael Risser (Tom) and Sharon Johnson (late Frank) of Findlay; and his brother-in-law Doug Norton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera or to a charity of the donor's choice.
