He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tate and Ruth Tate Jr. (Henry). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Apple) of North Baltimore; his children, Mark (Tami), Jeff (Sue), Amanda Sullivan (Rod) and Scott; and his siblings, Linn (Phyllis) of Findlay and Bonnie Fogle (late Jim) of New Mexico. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
