She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Wells and Grace Wells (Shearer); her former husband Paul Stephens; her husband Ralph Smith; her son Gary Stephens; her granddaughter Amanda Borer; and her siblings, Max Wells and Joan Gulker.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Stephens; her daughter-in-law Cathy Stephens; her grandchildren, Jaimye Benedict (David), Phillip Borer, Cole Stephens, Nicole Stephens and Heather Oates (Bo); her great grandchildren, Makayla Rein, Grace Rein, Collins Borer, Marcus Bohanon, Lucas Bohanon, Audra Oates and Ethan Oates; and her brother Donald Wells (Darlene).
