He is survived by: his former wife Linda Bennett; his wife Sandra Grohoske Kniss; his children, Christopher Kniss (Jane) of Findlay and Kimber Whanger (David) of Dublin, Ohio; his stepchildren, Jan Grohoske (Angie) of Lebanon, TN. and Mark Grohoske of Knoxville, TN.; his grandchildren, Ellie Grohoske, Elizabeth Wilin (Kent), Kaitlyn Kniss and Aubree Whanger; and his sisters, Willie Ann Wasilewski of Columbia City and Earleen Alvarez of Sebring, Florida..
