He was predeceased by: his brothers, John Mericle and Darl Mericle. He is survived by: his children, Jody Giesey (Eric) of Findlay, Jamie Pilcher (Myra VanAtta) of Vanlue and Casey J. Pilcher of Findlay; his grandchildren, Carson Pilcher, Caleb Pilcher, Maisi Pilcher, Brandi Feeney, Paige Brodine and Carson Brodine; and his siblings, Darlene DeSalve (Denny) of Findlay and Carl Mericle of Newport News, VA.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
