Others in the Kappa Sigma fraternity knew him better since we go through as classes but I remember him and know, that he was dedicated to his family, friends and fraternity brothers. “Our thoughts and prayers are extended to Cathy and family upon the death of Jack. Jack was one of my first roommates at the Kappa Sigma house, fraternity brother and best man at our wedding. We spent many hours playing hoops out back or drinking coffee at the Waffle House. He "introduced" me to the great Merle Haggard and had that 8 track tape deck in the room blasting country music during the hard rock era! Jack will be missed, but not forgotten.
