He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Stump and Shirley Stump (Kiger); his spouse Chloa Fry; and his siblings, Sally Hudson-Bisbee (Dave) and David Stump (Dixie).
He is survived by: his son H. Eugene "Gene" Stump Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jodi Stump (Cramner); his grandchildren, Levi Stump, Dana Richards, Evan Stump, Hillary Hawkins, Eve and Ella Stump; and his brother Leslie (Amanda Stump). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
