It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Saldana-Davila of Findlay, Ohio, born in Santa Maria, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Porfirio Davila and Tomasa Davila (Contreras); her former husband Salvador "Chava" Saldana; and her siblings, Juanita Elia Davila, Jesse Davila, Eperanza Reyna and Pofirio Davila Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Maria Saldana-Strait of Findlay, Anita Kiene of Findlay, Salvador L. Saldana Jr. of Findlay, Evila Saldana of Findlay and Joel Saldana of Findlay; her grandchildren, Dr. Angela Courtney of Columbus, Leah Bloyer (Clay) of Findlay, Tressa Henry (Grayson) of Cleveland, Erica Saldana (Patrick Ferris) of Toledo, Tiara Kiene of Findlay and Kayla Cass (Dustin) of Lansing, MI.; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Salazar, Trenton Manns, Quentin Manns, Peyton Manns, Warren Bloyer, Ashley Bloyer, Jenna Bloyer, Clay Patrick Bloyer, Kanan Henry, Lola Henry, Sienna Saldana, Mitchell Ferris, Mercadies Saldana and Pryce Saldana; and her siblings, Minerva Hernandez of Fostoria, Valdemar Davila of Fostoria, Joseph "Jose" Davila (Anna) of Santa Maria, TX and Beatrice Gonzales (Fernando) of La Feria, TX.. She is also survived by seven great-great-grandchildren.
