It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene T. Schey of Findlay, Ohio, born in Leipsic, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter S. Schey and Jessie E. Schey (Pickens); his former wife Patricia Bayless; his children, Dennis G. Schey (Brenda), Douglas R. Schey (Robin), Julie L. Baber (Shah) and Jayne A. Allen (Craig); his grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, Derek, Katelin and Joshua; his spouse Shirley A. Barger; his stepchildren, Jim (Lydia), Susan and Jack Barger (Andrea); and his stepgrandchildren, Zachary (Ashley), Luke (Nadia), Jacob, Annabelle and Lucille Barger.
