He was predeceased by: his daughter Nancy Rojas; and his brother Santiago Ruiz, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Pizana; his children, Maria Seibert of Findlay, Janey Hernandez of Texas, Elizabeth A. Zamudio of Deming and Everardo M. Rojas; and his brother Homero Ruiz of Findlay.
